WEEKEND GETAWAY TO ATLANTA

DAY ONE
This was my first time flying in years & this was my Son's first time flying period. We flew with #UnitedAirlines but we purchased our tickets through #Priceline.
We arrived in Atlanta on Thursday, September 16, on my Aunts actual birthday. We went straight to the "Pretlow Palace" & that's where we stayed for the night. We ate good & stayed up late watching movies. #FamilyTime
DAY TWO
We had Brunch at Gochas Breakfast Bar. 🤔 What did we eat? 👏🏽 EVERY 👏🏽 THING 👏🏽 ON 👏🏽 THE 👏🏽 MENU 😭😭😭 Here’s the deets on the eats… ⠀

1. CHICKEN AND WAFFLE STACK⠀

5. GOCHA’S IMPOSSIBLE BURGER W/ FRIES⠀

9. BETTER THAN YO MOMMA BISCUITS⠀
10. Unfortunately, Dessert was a disaster 😒😒😒⠀

✨ STORY TIME ✨⠀

I would have definitely given this place a 10/10 if it wasn’t for the dessert mixup. The food was amazing & the atmosphere was a vibe. The customer service was awesome…until it wasn’t. ⠀

*This has nothing to do with our waitress, she was on it!!! ⠀
Long story LONG…we ate, we paid & then we waited. Literally 40 something minutes AFTER paying our tabs, we still hadn’t received our desserts. ⠀

Manager gets involved & says she’s going to check on it. Comes back a few minutes later & says it coming up. We wait some more. We ask to be refunded for the desserts (since we had already paid) so we can go. ⠀

Manager comes back & says they’re coming up (again) do we still want them. We say “Yes, only if it’s bagged up & ready to go). It wasn’t. We wait some more. ⠀

Manager comes back (no dessert in hand) It’s ready, but if you want it we gotta charge you again because I already took it off the ticket 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️⠀

At this point it had been almost an hour since we paid. We definitely didn’t want to wait for them to ring it up (again), take the payments (again) & then wait (again) for them to bring it out. ⠀

We said no thanks, so unfortunately we didn’t get to try the Strawberry Short Cake or the Fried Pie.
Anyway, even though we had a issue with dessert, everything else was great. If you’re in ATL, I still recommend checking it out.
THE GEORGIAN TERRACE
Friday night we checked into the beautiful @TheGeorgianTerraceHotel in downtown Atlanta.

SEA SALT ATLANTA
We also had dinner at the @SeaSaltATL Seafood Lounge & y'all...it was amazing! I also dipped off to see my Boo Sherri, owner of agape_jewelry_creations. We talked for hours (literally) pouring into each other. So sad I didnt get a pic. Next time...
DAY THREE
We got up & you guessed it, headed to brunch, lol. This time we hit up gritzbrunchbar_. Y'all, it's hard but if I had to pick a fav', this would be it. The food was GREAT, service was AMAZING & overall the VIBE was the best. Everything was perfect down to checking out. I can't wait to go back.
We had a mini concert & photoshoot while we waited to be seated, lmbo.
Saturday night was Family & Friends night. Everyone came over to my Aunt's house to celebrate. We ate, danced & partied all night long!
DAY FOUR
Literally a couple of hours after the ended it was time for us to head to the airport. ATL to Houston, & then Houston to OKC. We ate good, had a blast & made it home safe. What more could we ask for? I'd say it was a success.
