Workout With Me On My 40th Birthday

Yesterday I turned 40.


Things didn’t go as planned…


BUT despite everything going on, I pulled it together, went to the Studio & worked out. ⠀ ⠀


The tradition continues…⠀ ⠀


40 Sun Salutations to celebrate the BIG 40.⠀ ⠀


I warmed up by doing 4 minutes on the Rower.⠀ ⠀


I knocked out my 40 (plus a few extra just in case my count was off).⠀ ⠀


Bonus Exercises: ⠀ ⠀


Sit-ups + Ball Tap⠀ ⠀

Modified Push-ups (because after 40 Sun Salutations my arms felt like jelly)⠀ ⠀

Squats ⠀ ⠀

Dead Lifts ⠀ ⠀

Calf Raises ⠀ ⠀


Afterwards, I had lunch with the Kid & I ended the day with a nice dinner.⠀ ⠀


For those that don’t know, my Granny/Birthday Twin passed Friday (1/7/22) & her funeral is tomorrow. ⠀ ⠀


My emotions have been all over the place but y’all showed me so much LOVE yesterday. ⠀ ⠀ I needed that & it was very much appreciated. ⠀ ⠀
